Aliens: Earth War #2, July 1990. Artwork by John Bolton.
Since 1991, I've had but one copy of Earth War - this one. So I have little to no idea what it's about. One day, I'll probably buy the rest, if only for John Bolton's fantastic covers.
When I was in jr. high school, I was obsessed with the Dark Horse Alien series. Although I would have bought anything with an Alien on it, I thought the covers from Book II, Earth War, & Genocide were the best of all. Thanks for the posting, I thought this blog was cool before but now......I'd vote for you in '13.
Thanks for the nice comments! :) much appreciated!
I used to have Genocide, that was one of my favourites, though I think it got swapped for something along the way... I suppose I'll re-buy them all soon, having a major nostalgia kick with the franchise lately. Yeah I was obsessed with the line too, at the age of 11-14 Aliens was all I watched/read/drew ... and spent a ridiculous amount of time playing the Alien 3 game on Sega Genesis, hehe.
According to my Aliens collection, Aliens: Earth War had four issues: #1 July 1990 (2nd printing); #2 July 1990; #3 September 1990; #4 October 1990. All four were written by Mark Verheiden, with art by Sam Kieth.
